Over twelve years we have built the market’s most comprehensive forest property transaction dataset and developed a peer-reviewed valuation method on top of it. Independence is the foundation of our model: because we do not broker properties for sellers or manage a fund of our own, our recommendations never compete with our own interests.
The whole group is built on the same data foundation: Suomen Sijoitusmetsät serves investor clients, Omalla Maalla LKV serves forest property sellers and private forest owners, and Metsänhaltija serves those seeking jointly owned forest solutions.

Investing in Finnish forest from abroad
Finland’s forest property market is transparent: every transaction is recorded in the National Land Survey of Finland’s price register. It is also fragmented, with properties sold through dozens of different channels. Our mandate model is built for investors who do not have their own organisation in Finland. You set the criteria and approve every offer. We handle market screening, field assessments, due diligence, management and reporting on an agreed schedule. Every property is assessed on site by our experts before it is presented to you. We work with you in English throughout.
