The year has turned in the forest property market as well, and it is now time to analyse the past year. The Suomen Sijoitusmetsät Market Price Index has shown a steepening curve throughout the year, and by year-end, a major milestone was reached: the market price level of forest properties rose by more than ten per cent in 2021.
There is no downward pressure on price levels in sight for 2022. Demand for forest properties is expected to remain strong in the coming year. Suomen Sijoitusmetsät Oy will continue to provide high-quality, impartial information on the forest property market.
