    Strong year for the forest property market – record price levels and market volume in 2025

    There were plenty of both sellers and buyers in the forest property market during the past year, accompanied by strengthening price levels. The coming winter months are traditionally quieter, and the market will next be tested more broadly towards the end of spring.

    At 3.9%, the total return on private forests in 2023 fell well short of the average of previous years. The sharp fall was driven by slower growth in forest property prices.
