Forestland Investment Finlands Head of Asset Intelligence Eero Viitanen is now an authorized property valuer (AKA) for agricultural and forestland properties
Valuating Forestland Properties
Forestland property valuations must consider multiple aspects of forestry, economy, zoning and legislation. Characteristics of growing stock and forestland as well as uncertainty considering these measures must be taken into account. The knowledge on forestland property market and the general economic development is crucial to high-quality appraisals. Many times, it is the case that also other values than silviculture exist in the subject of valuation. Different values must be weighted, and the final value of any property should reflect the highest and best use of property in question; to conclude the market value of the asset.
Authorized Property Valuer
To ensure highest standards in our valuations, our Head of asset intelligence Eero has now completed the demanding AKA examination and holds the title Authorized property valuer (AKA) for agricultural and forest properties.
